Whether you’ve always wanted to kayak or can’t wait to get out on the water again, we’ve got the kayak experience for you. We pride ourselves on our fun and relaxing tours where you’ll see the beautiful southern Moreton Bay waterways and enjoy a mini eco-adventure as well.
Redlands Kayak Tours are led by an Australian Canoeing accredited and qualified guide and experienced staff, who are happy to cater for individual requirements. Each session involves basic instruction, a safety briefing and all equipment. Participants must be at least 12 years of age, unless accompanied by an adult where the minimum age is 8 years of age.
Our tours operate 7 days a week with times and locations changing weekly subject to the tide times and weather conditions. Please read up on our tour types and locations to find out what may suit you best.

There is a minimum of 4 people per tour and 6 people for Straddie Sunrise & Multi day Sea Kayak Expeditions. If you are on your own, please call and ask when the next arranged tour is and we can fit you in with another group. If bookings are made with a group you can choose your location (dependent on tide and weather conditions). All prices are GST inclusive.
Short tours operate for 1.5hrs and cater for individuals, couples, families and groups – from beginners, intermediate to experienced kayakers. We require all tour attendees to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time. This allows for forms to be filled in, safety gear to be fitted and 15min safety instruction. Short tours operate in various locations across the Redlands Coast including Tingalpa Creek, Thompsons Beach and Cleveland Point.
Half day tours operate for 3hrs and cater for experienced to advanced kayakers. We require all tour attendees to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time. This allows for forms to be filled in, safety gear to be fitted and 15min safety instruction. Half day tours operate in various locations across the Redlands Coast including Tingalpa Creek, Thompsons Beach, Coochiemudlo Island and Straddie Sunrise. To attend the Coochiemudlo Island and Straddie Sunrise tours you need to have been on one of our short or other half day tours. These two trips are strictly for experienced kayakers only.
It’s a mini eco-adventure to kayak around Coochiemudlo Island. In your 3 hour circumnavigation of the island there is always plenty to see and chat about with your fellow kayakers. For experienced kayakers, this tour departs from Wilson Parade, Victoria Point.
Witness the spectacular sunrise over Moreton Bay when you join us for this early morning 4 hour tour across the bay. For experienced kayakers only, the tour culminates with breakfast at one of Queensland’s most iconic pubs, The Grandview. This tour departs from Wellington Point and arrives at GJ Walter Park at Cleveland.
For experienced kayakers only our Full Moon tour takes you from GJ Walter Park to the pretty sights of Cleveland Point where you can see in the distance the lights of Brisbane City and Cleveland. You are on the water for approximately 1.5 hours.
